Who The Lions Are
The Gulf Coast Lions are a 4th year pro basketball team in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. We are a part of the (TBL) The Basketball League, a different league that is similar to the level of the NBA G league. The Lions are a mix of local athletes and athletes from out of the area that want to put on a show for your entertainment. Fun high energy and high flying great basketball, will definitely provide fun for the entire family. We are Sarasota/Bradenton's first ever full pro basketball team. All the Lions' home games will be played at Newton Estates Gym. Come meet the players, join them for a shoot around, laugh, and have fun. Become a part of the Lions family. Basketball is a strong part of our communities; come out, join us, and support us.
